New Mexico State University Alamogordo (NMSU-A) is a public Community colleges in the United States, community college in Alamogordo, New Mexico. It is a branch campus of New Mexico State University at Las Cruces, New Mexico, Las Cruces and is accredited by North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Mescalero Apache Reservation
Mescalero or Mescalero Apache ( apm, Naa'dahéńdé) is an Apache tribe of Southern Athabaskan–speaking Native Americans. The tribe is federally recognized as the Mescalero Apache Tribe of the Mescalero Apache Reservation, located in south-central New Mexico. In the 19th century, the Mescalero opened their reservation to other Apache tribes, such as the Mimbreno (Chíhéńde, Warm Springs Apaches) and the Chiricahua (Shá'i'á-ńde or Chidikáágu). Holloman Air Force Base
Holloman Air Force Base is a United States Air Force base established in 1942 located six miles (10 km) southwest of the central business district of Alamogordo, and a census-designated place in Otero County, New Mexico, United States. The base was named in honor of Col. George V. Holloman, a pioneer in guided missile research. It is the home of the 49th Wing (49 WG) of the Air Education and Training Command (AETC). Alamogordo High School
Alamogordo High School is a public high school in Alamogordo, New Mexico. It is a part of Alamogordo Public Schools. History Alamogordo High was established in 1919 in a 13–classroom facility made of brick, which had two floors. Clippingfrom Newspapers.com.
