New Market Township is a township in Scott County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 3,057 at the 2000 census. History New Market Township was originally called Jackson Township, and under the latter name was organized in 1858. A few months later, the name was changed to New Market. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 33.8 square miles (87.6 km), of which 33.8 square miles (87.5 km) is land and 0.1 square mile (0.2 km) (0.21%) is water. Randolph County is a county located in the U.S. state of North Carolina. As of the 2020 census, the population was 144,171. Its county seat is Asheboro.
