New Manchester (formerly Fairview and Pughtown) is an unincorporated community in Hancock County, West Virginia, United States. It is located along West Virginia Route 8 northeast of New Cumberland near Tomlinson Run State Park. New Manchester was originally called Manchester and was platted in 1810. New Cumberland is a city in and the county seat of Hancock County, West Virginia, Hancock County, West Virginia, United States, along the Ohio River. The population was 1,020 as of the 2020 United States Census, 2020 census. It is part of the Weirton–Steubenville metropolitan area.
