New Jersey Alliance FC is an American soccer team based out of Lyndhurst, NJ. The team was founded in 2012 and plays in the NISA Nation, in the Northeast Region. NJAFC's colors are yellow, white and blue are the official colors. History New Jersey Alliance FC were founded in 2012 by Edgar Guardia, a local entrepreneur from Lyndhurst, New Jersey. The club joined the Garden State Soccer League and later the UPSL by reaching the 5th tier of US soccer pyramid. On 27 August 2021 NISA Nation, a 4th tier league, announced that the team was going to join the league as founder club in the 2021 NISA Nation season. The team tried to qualify for the 2022 U.S. Open Cup but was eliminated by Westchester United FC. NISA Nation is a semi-professional men's soccer league in the United States. The league is below the professional leagues in the United States soccer league system and began play in 2021. NISA Nation is affiliated with the third tier professional league National Independent Soccer Association. Expansion The league is composed by clubs from New Jersey, Maryland, California, Delaware, New York, Nevada, Arizona, Massachusetts, Florida and Pennsylvania. On August 25, 2021, Atlantic City FC was announced as the first club of the newly formed league. In the second half of 2021, another five clubs were announced to form the Northeast Region and to kick off for the Fall 2021 season. 2021 NISA Nation Season
The 2021 NISA Nation season has been the first season of NISA Nation. It was the inaugural season for the National Independent Soccer Association 4th tier league. The season has been made by 10 founder teams divided in two regions and the two toppers of the two regions have been crowned champions of their own regions. History Northeast Division The season was played from September 18 to December 12. The Northeast Division ended on December 13, 2021, with a showdown between New Jersey Alliance FC and New Amsterdam FC II. It ended in a 4–0 score in favor of NJAFC. The inaugural fall season for the Northeast had 28 games, 116 goals scored, 4.14 goals per match, and 210 players registered during its play. Southwest Division The season was played from October 30 to January 23. Lyndhurst is a township in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 20,554, reflecting an increase of 1,171 (+6.0%) from the 19,383 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 1,121 (+6.1%) from the 18,262 counted in the 1990 Census. The United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) is a national organization for amateur soccer in the United States. The United States soccer league system is a series of professional and amateur soccer leagues based, in whole or in part, in the United States. Sometimes called the American soccer pyramid, teams and leagues are not linked by the system of promotion and relegation typical in soccer elsewhere. Instead, the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) defines professional leagues in three levels, called divisions, with all other leagues sanctioned by the USSF not having an official designated level or division.
