Never Stop (film)
''Never Stop'' is a 2021 sports film directed by Han Bowen. The film stars Zheng Kai as a retired sprinter, a role for which he was trained by real-life sprinter Su Bingtian. The film was released in China on 12 June 2021 and was successful at the box office. Plot The film follows retired sprinter Hao Chaoyue and his protégé Wu Tianyi as Tianyi seeks to beat Chaoyue in a 100-meter dash. Though a champion sprinter at first, Chaoyue suffers a series of challenges; he ultimately retires to start a business selling shoes but loses his money in a scam. His protégé Tianyi is unable to beat Chaoyue at the 100-meter dash before the latter's retirement, but years later Tianyi wants to try again. But when he finds Chaoyue, his mentor is a shadow of his former self. Thematically, the film tackles the question of how athletes can live a good life once their days as champions are behind them. Ersha Island, formerly Napier Island in English, is an island in the Yuexiu District of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. It houses the American International School of Guangzhou elementary school campus, several apartment complexes, a badminton stadium, and a government sports training facility. ''On Your Mark'' () is a 2021 Chinese drama film directed by Chiu Keng Guan and starring Wang Yanhui, Zhang Youhao, and Gong Beibi. Plot The film follows the story of a father and son who participate in a marathon and thus come to understand and improve themselves. Derek Elley (born c. 1955) is an American film and music critic and author, best known as the resident film critic for ''Variety'' until his departure in March 2010. Li Ning (born March 10, 1963 in Liuzhou, Guangxi) is a Chinese retired gymnast, billionaire entrepreneur, and the founder of the eponymous sportswear company Li-Ning. Gymnastics career Li started training at the age of eight and was selected into the national team in 1980. Fan Zhiyi
Fan Zhiyi (; born 6 November 1969) is a Chinese coach and former international footballer. He played as a defender for Shanghai Shenhua, Crystal Palace, Dundee, Shanghai COSCO Huili, Cardiff City, Buler Rangers and Shanghai Zobon. He was considered a trailblazer in his native homeland when Sun Jihai and he became the first two Chinese footballers to play in the English leagues, joining Crystal Palace in 1998. Internationally, he would go on to play with the Chinese national team in the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
