Neuville-Université is a train station in Neuville-sur-Oise, in Val d'Oise department, in France. History In 1988, RER line A was extended from Nanterre Préfecture to Cergy St Christophe. Neuville–Université station was created on this line in 1994. Service Train The station is served by RER line A, with a train every 10 minutes toward Cergy-le-Haut and toward Marne-la-Vallée. Réseau Express Régional
The Réseau Express Régional ( en, Regional Express Network), commonly abbreviated RER (), is a hybrid commuter rail and rapid transit system serving Paris and its Île-de-France, suburbs. It acts as a combined city-centre underground rail system and suburbs-to-city-centre commuter rail. In the city centre it acts much like the Paris Métro, though faster, having fewer stops. This has made it a model for proposals to improve transit within other cities. The network consists of five lines: RER A, A, RER B, B, RER C, C, RER D, D and RER E, E. The network has 257 stations and has interchanges with the Paris Métro, Métro and Transilien, commuter rail within the City of Paris and the suburbs. Pontoise () is a commune in the northwestern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located from the centre of Paris, in the " new town" of Cergy-Pontoise. Administration Pontoise is the official ''préfecture'' (capital) of the Val-d'Oise ''département'', although in reality the ''préfecture'' building and administration, as well as the department council (''conseil général''), are located in the neighboring commune of Cergy, which is regarded as the ''de facto'' capital of Val-d'Oise. Poissy () is a commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. It is located in the western suburbs of Paris, from the centre of Paris. Conflans-Sainte-Honorine () is a commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. It is located in the northwestern suburbs of Paris, from the center of Paris. The commune was originally named for its geographic position at the confluence of the Seine and Oise rivers. The village was given the addition "Sainte Honorine" in the 13th century after the female Saint Honorina, whose relics had been kept there since AD 876. Partly on account of its strategic position, Conflans-Sainte-Honorine is considered the capital of the French inland waterways, and the right bank of the river Seine is still lined with barges (although these are now used mainly as houseboats). Every year in June, the town celebrates the ''Pardon national de la batellerie'' in remembrance of its former importance to inland shipping. Jouy-le-Moutier () is a commune in the Val-d'Oise department, in the northwestern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located from the center of Paris, in the " new town" of Cergy-Pontoise, created in the 1960s. History The name ''Jouy-le-Moutier'' has only been in use since the 13th century. Two charters by Charlemagne to the bishop of Paris, Eschenradus gave the chapter of Notre Dame de Paris the possession of the church of Andrésy. When the parish of Jouy was created the chapter of Andrésy became its owner. There is no known nomination at the parish of Jouy before 1186. In 1250 the parish of Vauréal was created from part of the parish of Jouy. Once again it was the chapter of Notre Dame de Paris who chose the first vicar of Jouy.
