The Netherlands participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 which was held on 24 November 2019 in Gliwice, Poland. Matheu was selected with his song "Dans met Jou". Edsilia Rombley
Edsilia Francisca Rombley (born 13 February 1978) is a Dutch singer and television presenter. She began her career in 1995, as a member of the Dutch girl group Dignity. Rombley began her solo career in 1996, after winning the Dutch talent show ''Soundmixshow'', later winning the ''European Soundmix Show'' as well the following year. In 1998, Rombley won '' Nationaal Songfestival 1998'' and represented the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 1998 with the song " Hemel en aarde", placing fourth. She later represented the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song " On Top of the World", but did not qualify for the final. In 2009, Rombley hosted season one of the Dutch celebrity talent show ''Beste Zangers.'' ''Bloed, zweet & tranen'', also known as ''Blood, Sweat & Tears'', is a Dutch biographical film about the late Dutch singer André Hazes. The movie, named after Hazes' song '' Bloed, zweet en tranen'', was directed by Diederick Koopal and released in 2015. Starring actors are Martijn Fischer (who plays Hazes), Hadewych Minis, Fedja van Huêt, and Matheu Hinzen. André Gerardus Hazes (30 June 1951 - 23 September 2004) was a Dutch singer and actor. As an accomplished levenslied singer, Hazes recorded 36 studio and live albums, and 55 singles prior to his death in 2004. His music is still well-known in the Netherlands and Flanders, known for sentimental and simple lyrics. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 was the seventeenth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, organised by Telewizja Polska (TVP) and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). It was held on 24 November 2019, at the Gliwice Arena in Gliwice, Poland, following the country's victory at the contest in Minsk, Belarus, with the song "Anyone I Want to Be", performed by Roksana Węgiel. It was the first time Poland had hosted the contest, as well as the first Eurovision event to be held in the country since the Eurovision Young Dancers 2013.
