The Dutch Olympic Committee*Dutch Sports Federation, ( nl, Nederlands Olympisch Comité*Nederlandse Sport Federatie) generally abbreviated NOC*NSF, is the overall coordinating Dutch sports organization that also functions as the Dutch National Olympic Committee and National Paralympic Committee. Based at the National Sports Centre Papendal in Arnhem, it is a federation of 90 sports organizations, representing about 2700 individual sports clubs. IOC members Team NL Team NL is the sports team project with the goal of closer association of athletes and fans. The International Paralympic Committee (IPC; german: Internationales Paralympisches Komitee) is an international non-profit organisation and the global governing body for the Paralympic Movement. The IPC organizes the Paralympic Games and functions as the international federation for nine sports. Kees-Jan van der Klooster (born 3 July 1977) is a Paralympian athlete from Netherlands competing in alpine skiing events. In March 2001 he had a snowboard accident and broke his back. Since then he is paralysed from his waist down. His coach is Falco Teitsma. He studied Marketing and Communication and is runnings his own business K-J Projects Unlimited Abilities, a company working on a better lifestyle for disabled people. The Men's Downhill competition of the Vancouver 2010 Paralympics was held at Whistler Blackcomb in Whistler, British Columbia. The competition was scheduled for Saturday, March 13, but was postponed to Thursday, March 18 due to bad weather conditions.
