Nestor Hipolito Giovannini
Néstor Hipólito Giovannini (born February 7, 1961) is an Argentine former professional boxer. He held the WBO cruiserweight title from 1993 through 1994 and also contested for the WBC light-heavyweight title. Professional career Giovannini made his professional boxing debut at the age of 23 in 1984 losing in a decision. He conquered the Argentinean light-heavyweight title in his 17th fight and a regional WBC title in his 29th fight which he would defend once. He continued campaigning at the light-heavyweight division until 1990, that year, he lost by TKO against Jeff Harding for the WBC light-heavyweight world title. He then moved up to fight at cruiserweight where he got the chance to fight Markus Bott for the WBO cruiserweight world title, which he won by split decision in Hamburg, Germany. Marcelo Fabián Domínguez (born January 15, 1970) is an Argentine professional boxer. A world champion and four-time world title challenger at cruiserweight, he held the WBC world cruiserweight title from 1996 until 1998. He originally won the interim WBC belt in 1995, having been promoted after his second defense of the belt that same year. Professional career Domínguez turned pro in 1991 and was able to land a title shot in only his sixteenth fight, against Anaclet Wamba in 1994 for the WBC cruiserweight title. Wamba won a majority decision. Domínguez was able to capture the interim WBC belt the following year though with a TKO win over Akim Tafer. He was able to defend the belt five times, being promoted to full champ along the way, before losing the belt to Juan Carlos Gómez in 1998 via decision. Lottie Mwale (14 April 1952 – 18 October 2005) was a Zambian male Light Heavyweight-class boxer who was Commonwealth and African Boxing Union champion for a period of six years. Mwale, who is Zambia’s greatest boxer, also won the World Boxing Council (WBC) International title after defeating Ray Acquaye of Ghana in eight rounds in Lusaka in December 1990. Early life Mwale was born in Kitwe, Zambia (then Northern Rhodesia) on 14 April 1952. He grew up in Wusakile and went to Ndeke Primary School.
