Adalgisa Nery
Adalgisa Nery (October 29, 1905 – June 7, 1980) was a Brazilian poet, journalist and politician. Biography She was born in Rio de Janeiro as Adalgisa Maria Feliciana Noel Cancela Ferreira, the daughter of a civil servant. In 1922 she married Ismael Nery (1900–1934), a Painting, painter and poet who introduced Adalgisa to a circle of Brazilian artists and intellectuals that included Manuel Bandeira, Jorge de Lima and Murilo Mendes. The Nerys lived in Europe from 1927 to 1929, where they met the artist Marc Chagall and the Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos. Ismael died of tuberculosis in 1934, leaving Adalgisa with two sons. Nery began to publish poetry and fiction after her first husband's death. Her first book, ''Poemas'', published in 1937, received critical acclaim, and she wrote Short story, short stories and magazine articles. Nery (footballer)
Emmanuel Augusto Nery (25 December 1892 - 5 November 1927), commonly known as Nery, was a Brazilian footballer who played as a defender. He was a member of the Brazilian squad at the 1916 Copa America, helping them finish third and win the bronze medal. Career Nery started his career from Fluminense in 1910 and two years later he moved to crosstown rivals Flamengo where he played until 1919. He won the Campeonato Carioca 3 times and featured in the first official match of the Brazil national football team against Exeter City in 1914.He died in Rio de Janeiro in 1927, at the age of 34. Felipe Nery Franco (born 26 May 1959) is a Paraguayan former footballer who played as a striker. During his career, Franco played for teams such as Olimpia Asunción, Club Libertad and Deportivo Humaitá of Paraguay; and for Cúcuta Deportivo and Unión Magdalena of Colombia. While in Olimpia, he won important titles with the club, although he came in as a substitute most of the time. Nery Alberto Castillo Confalonieri (born 13 June 1984) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a forward. Early years Nery Castillo was born in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, where his father, a Uruguayan professional footballer, had played for the local team of San Luis. He is also of Italian descent. Nery Evelio Cano Arreaga (Chiantla, Huehuetenango, May 26, 1956 - Guatemala City, July 29, 2021) was a Guatemalan conductor, composer and arranger. He was a well known trumpet player in Guatemala. He was conductor in chief of the Symphonic Martial Band for 20 years of Military Services of Ministry of Defense and also a trumpeter. Recognized in the Dictionary of Music of Guatemala of the University of San Carlos, he was a promoter of Jazz in Guatemala. Sebastião Nery (March 8, 1932 – September 23, 2024) was a Brazilian writer and journalist. Early life and education Nery was born in Jaguaquara, in the state of Bahia, on March 8, 1932. From 1942 to 1950 he studied at the Seminary of Amargosa, Bahia, and at the Central Seminary of Bahia, in Salvador. Having moved to Belo Horizonte, he graduated in philosophy at the University of Minas Gerais in 1954, and began a course in juridical and social sciences, which he completed in 1958 at the Law School in Bahia.
