Neram Vandhachu
''Neram Vandhachu'' () is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by M. Vellaisamy. The film stars Karthik and Radha. The film, had musical score by Shankar–Ganesh. Plot Major Kuppusamy, is a wealthy millionaire, but a widower. He is very strict with his daughter Radha (Radha) and makes her live a military- like lifestyle (getting up very early in the morning, being punctual in every small thing etc.) She isn't allowed even to venture out of their bungalow. However, one day Kuppusamy announces Radha's wedding with Ravi (Thiagarajan), who is, unbeknownst to him, a criminal. Disheartened, Radha runs away from home. Karthik (actor)
Murali Karthikeyan Muthuraman (born 13 September 1960), better known by his stage name Karthik, is an Indian actor, playback singer and politician who works mainly in Tamil cinema. He is the son of veteran actor R. Muthuraman. In the 1980s and 90s, Karthik was one of the biggest stars in the industry. He was first introduced by Bharathiraja in the Tamil film ''Alaigal Oivathillai'' (1981) and became a lead actor in Tamil films by his own. Udaya Chandrika, better known by her screen/stage name Radha (born 3 June 1965), is an Indian actress, who predominantly appears in Tamil and Telugu films in addition to a few Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi films. She was one of the top heroine in the film industry for about a decade; from 1981 to 1991 (dominating the 80s era). Her elder sister Ambika, was also an actress. Shankar–Ganesh is an Indian music director duo who has worked on Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada movies for around 50 years. Career They started as assistants to Tamil music composers M. S. Viswanathan and T. K. Ramamoorthy in 1964 and later the duo assisted M.S.Viswanathan alone from 1965 till 1967. Kannadhasan started his own film Titled "Nagarathil Thirudargal" in which he introduced Shankar Ganesh as music directors. ''Alaigal Oivathillai'' () is a 1981 Indian Tamil-language romance film written and directed by Bharathiraja, from a story by Manivannan. The film stars two new debutants Karthik and Radha, while Thiagarajan, Silk Smitha and Kamala Kamesh appear in supporting roles. It follows Vichu (played by Karthik), a Hindu Brahmin boy, who falls in love with Mary (played by Radha), a Christian girl. Thyagu (born 5 February 1958) is an Indian actor and comedian who appears in Tamil films. He is the grandson of violinist Kumbakonam Rajamanickam Pillai. Career Beginning as a protagonist, Thyagu played roles in ''Oru Thalai Ragam'' and '' Palaivana Solai'', before playing antagonistic roles in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
