Nepali Tara
Nepali Tara ( Nepali: नेपाली तारा, Nepal Star) is a Nepali reality television series that debuted on NTV in 2005. The show is a talent contest to decide the best new singer in Nepal based on viewer voting and participation. It's loosely based on British TV series Pop Idol, but is independently produced and is not a licensed adaptation. The first season was conceived by Brazesh Khanal and executed by Neelbarahi Films Studio 4, as the production house, aired in Nepal television. It became immensely popular with the Nepali Television audience. The packaging of the program was unique Since its inception, it has completed three seasons. The first season was held in 2005, the second in 2007 and the third in 2014-2015. Dharmendra Sewan
Dharmendra Sewan (Nepali language, Nepali: धर्मेन्द्र परियार (सेवान)) is a Nepali singer, songwriter, composer and performer. He released his debut single "Yo Andheri Raat" in 2002. Sewan was also involved in ''Melancholy (song), Melancholy'', an environmental song by 365 artists, written, composed and directed by environmentalist Nipesh Dhaka in which the song has been featured in Guinness World Records entitled "Most Vocal Solos in a Song Recording" , recorded on 19 May 2016 at Radio Nepal studio. __TOC__ Musical career He started his career a band called Damage Glitters. ''The Voice of Nepal'' is the Nepalese format of the international TV singing reality series called ''The Voice''. The show usually have four different coaches (judges), which eventually form a four different team after the selection event called the Blind Audition. Each team has to go through the battle round where contestants are paired with one another within the same team and only half of the total selected contestants from the blind audition are selected for the knockout round. During the knockout round, based on ''The Voice'' format, only the best and strongest contestants who their respective coach consider the best overall are selected by their coaches. Nepal Idol ( ne, नेपाल आइडल ) is a Nepali reality television singing competition that is part of the ''Idols'' franchise created and owned by FremantleMedia. Nepal Idol 2017 is the first season of Idol Franchise in Nepal which aired on AP1 TV. In the first season, audition were held at seven cities; Nepalgunj, Butwal, Narayangarh, Birgunj, Biratnagar, Pokhara and Kathmandu. Contestants aged 16 to 30 years of age are allowed to participate.
