Nenad Vanić
Nenad Vanić (Serbian Cyrillic: Ненад Ванић; born 30 August 1970) is a Serbian football manager and former player. Playing career In the summer of 1997, following a brief spell with Vojvodina, Vanić moved abroad an signed with Spanish club Albacete. He spent the next three seasons there, before moving to Belgian side Lokeren. After a year at Daknamstadion, Vanić switched to fellow league club Gent. He made a total of 77 appearances and scored 17 goals in the top flight of Belgian football between 2000 and 2003. Subsequently, Vanić briefly played for Chinese side Tianjin Teda, before returning to his homeland and joining Borac Čačak in early 2004. Managerial career Shortly after retiring as a player, Vanić took over the managerial role at Radnički Nova Pazova in early 2010. Fudbalski klub Napredak Kruševac (), commonly known as Napredak Kruševac, is a Serbian professional football club based in the city of Kruševac. The word ''Napredak'' means "progress" in Serbian. The Serbian First League ( sr, Прва лига Србије / Prva liga Srbije), referred to as the Mozzart Bet First League ( sr, Моцарт Бет Прва лига / Mozzart Bet Prva liga) for sponsorship reasons, is the name for the second tier in professional Serbia's football league. The league was formed in 2005, following a reshuffle of the second tier Serbo-Montenegrin divisions. It is operated by the Football Association of Serbia. Format The league is usually formed by 16 clubs which play all against one another twice, once at home, once away. The Serbian Cyrillic alphabet ( sr, / , ) is a variation of the Cyrillic script used to write the Serbian language, updated in 1818 by Serbian linguist Vuk Stefanović Karadžić, Vuk Karadžić. It is one of the two alphabets used to write standard modern Serbian language, Serbian, the other being Gaj's Latin alphabet. Karadžić based his alphabet on the previous Slavonic-Serbian script, following the principle of "write as you speak and read as it is written", removing obsolete letters and letters representing iotified vowels, introducing from the Latin alphabet instead, and adding several consonant letters for sounds specific to Serbian phonology. OFK Bačka (Serbian Cyrillic: ОФК Бачка) is a football club based in Bačka Palanka, Serbia. In 2016, the club achieved promotion to the Serbian SuperLiga. FK Radnik Surdulica () is a professional football club based in Surdulica, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian SuperLiga, the top tier of the national league system. History The club was founded as Surdulički sportski klub (SSK) in 1926 on the initiative of Gradimir Antić, a local shoemaker, who brought the first football ball to Surdulica.
