Nenad Marković
Nenad Marković (born June 6, 1968) is a Bosnian former professional basketball player and current head coach for JDA Dijon Basket, JDA Dijon of French LNB Pro A. Playing career Born in Doboj to a Bosnian Serb father and a Bosnian Croat mother, Marković started his playing career at KK Igman Ilidža, before being scouted by U-16 KK Bosna Sarajevo under Mladen "Makso" Ostojić. He played for a number of years in KK Bosna's youth teams alongside players such as Predrag Danilović, Dževad Alihodžić, Senad Begović, Adis Bećiragić, etc. Marković broke into the first team and become a regular starter during the 1989–90 season. At that season's end his improvement was recognized with a call-up to the Yugoslavia national basketball team, Yugoslav national team under famous coach Dušan Ivković, Dušan "Duda" Ivković. Basketball coaching is the act of directing and strategizing the behavior of a basketball team or individual basketball player. The 2017 FIBA Intercontinental Cup was the 27th edition of the FIBA Intercontinental Cup. The cup winner was decided through one game, which was held on September 24, 2017. It was contested by the 2017 FIBA Americas League champions, Guaros de Lara, and the 2017 FIBA Champions League champions, Iberostar Tenerife. The title game was held at the Santiago Martín, in San Cristóbal de La Laguna. Champions of the EuroLeague were not allowed to participate by FIBA, due to the EuroLeague's dispute with FIBA.
