Nemanja Mirosavljev
Nemanja Mirosavljev (Serbian Cyrillic: Немања Миросављев; born May 10, 1970, in Novi Sad, SR Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Serbian sport shooter. He is currently a member of SD Novi Sad 1790. Mirosavljev has competed at five Summer Olympics in his career, under three different flags - Independent Olympic Participants, Yugoslavia and also Serbia and Montenegro. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, People's Republic of China, Mirosavljev once again represented his country - Serbia. He gained his qualification by taking 5th place at the 2007 World Cup #2 Rifle, Pistol in Sydney, Australia and competed at the 50 m Rifle 3 Positions Men event in Beijing. Teams from Yugoslavia first participated at the Olympic Games in 1920. Previously, several athletes from Croatia, Slovenia and northern Serbian province Vojvodina had competed for Austria or Hungary when those countries were part of the Empire of Austria-Hungary. The men's 50 metre rifle three positions event at the 2012 Olympic Games took place on 6 August 2012 at the Royal Artillery Barracks. The event consisted of two rounds: a qualifier and a final. 50 Metre Rifle Three Positions
50 meter rifle three positions (formerly known as one of four free rifle disciplines) is an International Shooting Sport Federation event, a miniature version of 300 meter rifle three positions. It consists of the kneeling, prone, and standing positions, fired in that order, traditionally with 3×40 shots for men and 3×20 shots for women. In January 2018, the number of shots was equalised between genders with the Women's 3x20 being abolished in favour of a 3x40 match identical to the men's event. The caliber is .22 Long Rifle (5.6 mm). In both the men's and women's event, athletes must complete the course of fire within a single time block of 2 hours, 45 minutes.
