Nelson Filipe dos Santos Simões Oliveira (born 6 March 1989) is a Portuguese professional road racing cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career In September 2009, Anadia-born Oliveira won the silver medal in the under-23 time trial at the UCI Road World Championships. In November 2009, Oliveira signed with . In September 2010, he went again to the UCI Road World Championships, and was 4th in the under-23 time trial, not repeating a podium by just 4 seconds. In 2011 he won the Portuguese National Time Trial Championships and finished 17th in the UCI World Time Trial Championships. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the men's road race and the men's individual time trial. Oliveira left at the end of the 2013 season, and joined for the 2014 season. Anadia, Portugal
Anadia () is a municipality in Portugal. The population in 2011 was 29,150, in an area of 216.63 km². It had 26,915 eligible voters. The city of Anadia is part of Arcos e Mogofores parish. The city itself had a population of 3,034 in 2001, while Arcos e Mogofores parish has about 5,000.
