Nelson House () is a designated place in northern Manitoba, Canada adjacent to the Nelson House 170 Indian Reserve, which is part of the Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation. A designated place (DPL) is a type of community or settlement identified by Statistics Canada that does not meet the criteria used to define municipalities or population centres. DPLs are delineated every 5 years for the Canadian census as the statistical counterparts of incorporated places such as cities, towns, and villages. The Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation (NCN; ; formerly the Nelson House First Nation) is a Cree First Nations community centered in Nelson House, Manitoba, Canada. Its main reserve is Nelson House 170. Nelson House is located about west of Thompson and is accessible via the mixed paved and gravel Provincial Road 391. The Cree name ''Nisichawayasihk'' means, ''“Where three rivers meet”''.
