Nelly Petkova ( bg, Нели Петкова) is a Bulgarian singer, and an ex-vocalist of "Ku-Ku Band". Biography Nelly Petkova was born in Karlovo, Bulgaria. Since her early childhood she has been focused on her development as a singer. Petkova studied Folk Arts her entire academic career culminating in her graduation from Sofia University with a major in Folk Singing. Her passion for Folk singing has led her to incorporate her unique vocal style into her pop songs. Music career In 2004, she made her debut on Bulgarian National Radio where, with the radio folk orchestra, she recorded four songs. At the end of that year Petkova won the competition to become the lead vocalist for the number one rated show in Bulgaria, Slavi's Show and Ku Ku Band. Karlovo
Karlovo ( bg, Карлово ) is a historically important town in central Bulgaria located in a fertile valley along the river Stryama at the southern foot of the Balkan Mountains. It is administratively part of Plovdiv Province and has a population of about 30,340 (), the mayor being Dr. Emil Kabaivanov. Karlovo is famous for the worldwide-known rose oil, which is grown there and used in producing perfume. Stanislav Todorov Trifonov ( bg, Станислав Тодоров Трифонов; born 18 October 1966), known as Slavi Trifonov ( bg, Слави Трифонов), is a Bulgarian TV host, musician and politician. Trifonov is mainly active in the traditional Bulgarian folklore music genres, but he has experimented with other genres such as hip-hop in collaboration with the Australian-based producer Yasen Subev, and pop-rock and punk as a part of Ku-Ku Band ( bg, Ку-Ку Бенд).
