Neil Watson (guitarist)
Neil Watson (born February 2, 1991) is a former American professional basketball player for the Plymouth Raiders of the British Basketball League and is currently an assistant coach for Park University. He competed in college basketball for the University of Southern Mississippi. Early life and education Watson was born on February 2, 1991, in Kansas City, Kansas. He attended college at Coffeyville Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi. Career Out of high school, Watson tried out for the Toledo men's basketball team but was rejected. He transferred to the University of Southern Mississippi under coach Larry Eustachy. Watson's first season with the Golden Eagles resulted in an NCAA Tournament berth along with other starters Maurice Bolden (Sr.) Angelo Johnson (Sr.) Dwayne Davis (Jr.) and Johnathan Mills (Jr.). The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Above all, the point guard must understand and accept their coach's game plan; in this way, the position can be compared to a quarterback in American football.
