Neil McGregor
Neil McGregor (born 17 July 1985, in Irvine), is a Scottish football defender who has previously played in the Scottish Premier League for Dundee. Career McGregor began his career with Kilmarnock. He played in the Scottish Youth Cup winning team of 2004. Killie won 1–0 against Rangers at Rugby Park in the final. McGregor along with Steven Masterton and Steven Naismith (all three played in the final) were promoted to the first team squad shortly afterwards. He failed to make the grade with Killie and was later released. He subsequently signed for Clyde in the summer of 2005, and scored on his début for them in the Scottish Challenge Cup against Brechin City. McGregor flourished after joining Clyde, and was awarded the Man of the Match award during Clyde's 5–2 extra time defeat to Rangers in the Scottish League Cup. Steven Naismith
Steven John Naismith (born 14 September 1986) is a Scottish former professional footballer. He is football development manager at Scottish club Heart of Midlothian. Naismith began his career with Kilmarnock in 2004. He spent four years with the Ayrshire side where he won the SFWA Young Player of the Year award in 2006 and the SPFA Young Player of the Year award the following season. Naismith joined Rangers in the summer of 2007 for £1.9 million. While with the club he won three consecutive league titles, the Scottish Cup in 2009 and the League Cup twice. He signed for Premier League club Everton in 2012, and then joined Norwich City in 2016. Carlisle ( , ; from xcb, Caer Luel) is a city that lies within the Northern English county of Cumbria, south of the Scottish border at the confluence of the rivers Eden, Caldew and Petteril. Michael McGowan (footballer)
Michael Valentine McGowan (born 22 February 1985) is a footballer who is currently without a club. Career McGowan began his senior career with Stenhousemuir, where he played a handful of games, before moving to Dundee. McGowan failed to make a single appearance for Dundee, and subsequently joined Clyde. McGowan made his Clyde debut as a substitute in the first league game of the 2005-06 season against Ross County, and went on to cement his place in the team, missing only one more game that season. During that season, McGowan was rewarded for his consistent performances by being named Clyde F.C. player of the year and earned a call up to the Northern Ireland U21 squad, after discovering he was eligible to play for them. Paul McHale (born 30 September 1981 in (Stirling) is a Scottish retired Association footballer and current football agent. Career McHale started his career with Rangers, but failed to play a senior game for them. He was loaned out to St Mirren in 2003. He joined Sauchie Juniors in December 2003, With the club, the team reached the last eight of the Scottish Junior Cup, finished runners up in the Lothian First Division and won the Lothians & Fife Cup (4–0 v Linlithgow Rose). He scored five times (out of 5) from the penalty spot for the team. McHale spent the 2004–05 season at Cowdenbeath. He became Graham Roberts' first signing for Clyde in the summer of 2005. The Scottish League Cup (also known as the Viaplay Cup for sponsorship reasons) is a football competition open to all Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) clubs.
