Neil Brunton
Neil Brunton (born 3 January 1969) is a former Australian rules football player with the Sydney Swans of the Australian Football League (AFL). He was plucked from the Sydney AFL competition during the middle of the 1991 season where he was playing with Holroyd-Parramatta Blacktown to make his debut against Geelong in Round 4 at Kardinia Park Kardinia Park is a major public park located in South Geelong, Victoria. Holroyd-Parramatta Blacktown AFC Goannas
The Parramatta Australian Football Club is an Australian rules football club based in the Western Suburbs of Sydney, Australia. The club colours are blue and yellow and they are nicknamed the Goannas. They currently have five teams: Men's Platinum Division, Platinum Reserves, & Under 19s; and Women's Division 1 and Division 2. All teams play in the Sydney AFL league. The Sydney Swans are a professional Australian rules football club based in Sydney, New South Wales. The men's team competes in the Australian Football League (AFL), and the women's team in the AFL Women's (AFLW). The Swans also field a reserves men's team in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Australian football, also called Australian rules football or Aussie rules, or more simply football or footy, is a contact sport played between two teams of 18 players on an oval field, often a modified cricket ground. Points are scored by kicking the oval ball between the central goal posts (worth six points), or between a central and outer post (worth one point, otherwise known as a "behind"). During general play, players may position themselves anywhere on the field and use any part of their bodies to move the ball. The primary methods are kicking, handballing and running with the ball. The Australian Football League (AFL) is the only fully professional competition of Australian rules football. Through the AFL Commission, the AFL also serves as the sport's governing body and is responsible for controlling the laws of the game.
