Neil Briggs
Neil Briggs (born 1 June 1985 in Germany) is a rugby union player who most recently played for Sale Sharks. Briggs plays as a Hooker, but he can also play as a Flanker. Briggs started his career at Rotherham Titans before moving to Sale Sharks where he notched up 104 appearances from 2005 to 2011. In the 2005–2006 season, Briggs made 3 appearances as Sale Sharks won their first ever Premiership title. In October 2011 he left Sale to join French club Bourgoin for the remainder of the 2011–12 season before returning to the Aviva Premiership with London Welsh in 2012. Briggs made his debut for the England Saxons against the Argentina Jaguars at the 2009 Churchill Cup. After James Gaskell was injured in October 2010, Briggs was appointed Sale's captain for the remainder of the season. In turn, Briggs too succumbed to injury a month into his tenure as captain. Argentina XV, formerly known as the Jaguares, are the second national rugby union team in Argentina, after the full national side, the Pumas. Overview They already represented Argentina at the South American Rugby Championship, in 2001, 2002, 2005, 2009 and 2011. Neil McMillan
Neil McMillan (born 15 May 1981) is an Irish rugby union flanker. McMillan was educated at Belfast Royal Academy, and at the age of fifteen was part of the BRA Schools' Cup winning team in 1997. He he was selected for Ireland's Under-19, Under-21, Sevens and 'A' teams, spent a year with Leicester Tigers' under-21 team, before signing for Ulster before the 2001–02 season, soon making his debut against Llanelli Scarlets. He won the IRUPA Young Player of the Year award in 2003. He played for Ulster for eight years, and was part of the team that won the 2005–06 Celtic League, but was frequently injured, and had major surgery five times. He moved to Harlequins in 2008. James Gaskell
James Gaskell (born 20 May 1990) is a rugby union player for Shokki Shuttles in the Top League. He plays as a flanker or lock. After making the debut for Sale in 2008, Gaskell was named the club's Breakthrough Player of the Year for the 2009/10 season. Gaskell was named club captain for the 2010/11 season, making him the youngest captain in the history of the Premiership. He was injured for much of the season, and returned in January 2011. The club's coach changed while Gaskell was injured, and a new captain was appointed. The 2009 Churchill Cup took place between June 6 and June 21, 2009, marking the seventh year of the Churchill Cup. For the first time in the tournament's history, all rounds were held in the United States. This was done in an effort to reduce the cost of the tournament after the discontinued sponsorship by Barclays and to keep the tournament from being suspended for a year.
