''Nefarious: Merchant of Souls'' is a 2011 American documentary film about modern human trafficking, specifically sexual slavery. Presented from a Christian worldview, ''Nefarious'' covers human trafficking in the United States, Western and Eastern Europe, and Southeast Asia, alternating interviews with re-enactments. Victims of trafficking talk about having been the objects of physical abuse and attempted murder. Several former prostitutes talk about their conversion to Christianity, escape from sexual oppression, and subsequent education or marriage. The film ends with the assertion that only Jesus can completely heal people from the horrors of sexual slavery. ''Nefarious'' was written, directed, produced and narrated by Benjamin Nolot, founder and president of Exodus Cry, the film's distributor. ''Nefarious'' is an action platform game developed by StarBlade. The game was funded through a Kickstarter campaign, raising over $50,000, and was released on Steam for Linux, Microsoft Windows and OS X on January 23, 2017. Ports for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One were released in 2018. The game subverts typical video game boss fights by allowing the player to take the role of the boss against archetypical hero characters. The game received mixed reviews from critics and has spawned a sequel webcomic series. ''Toonstruck'' is a graphic adventure video game developed by Burst Studios, published by Virgin Interactive Entertainment and released in 1996 for DOS. In the game, a live-action protagonist Drew Blanc, played and voiced by Christopher Lloyd, is transported into the cartoon world he created while suffering from a creative block. Blanc is accompanied by his animated sidekick Flux Wildly, voiced by Dan Castellaneta. Conceived in 1993 as a game geared towards children, ''Toonstruck'' was later re-written to be more adult-oriented.
