Needles In The Cosmic Haystack
''Needles in the Cosmic Haystack'' is a Man or Astro-man? 7-inch EP released on Tempe-based East Side Records in 1995. It was released exclusively on black vinyl. The original sleeves were misprinted so that the title read simply: ''Haystack''. The misprinted sleeve had this effect: Along with the misprinted sleeves, original inner labels misspelled "Supernova" and instead attributed the b-side track to Supernove: Both the misprinted sleeves and the misspelled labels were corrected on the second pressing, though some of the first press records may have been distributed with the corrected sleeve. On all pressings of the single, the printing on B side's inner label cuts off the final "S" on East Side Records. The A side ("Radio Fission") was later reworked and released on Experiment Zero as "Television Fission". The artwork was the brain child of local Tempe artist Brian Marsland. Track listing Black Hole Entrance Side *"Radio Fission" Black Hole Exit Side *"Calling Hong Kon ...

Man Or Astro-man?
Man or Astro-man? is an American surf rock group that formed in Auburn, Alabama in the early 1990s and came to prominence over the following decade. Primarily instrumental, Man or Astro-man? blended the surf rock style of the early 1960s like that of Dick Dale and The Spotnicks with the new wave and punk rock sounds of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Man or Astro-man? was known for their anachronistic dedication to science fiction themes, audio samples, obscure electronic devices (such as theremins and tesla coils), and high-energy live performances. Their earlier albums like '' Is It ... Man or Astroman?'' and ''Destroy All Astromen!'' were known for their traditional surf rock instrumentation and sci-fi sound bite song introductions, but their later albums like '' EEVIAC...'' and '' A Spectrum of Infinite Scale'' were known for their use of synthesizers, printers (like the Apple ImageWriter II), and their more abstract, experimental sound. Their recordings were often peppe ...

Surf Rock
Surf music (or surf rock, surf pop, or surf guitar) is a Music genre, genre of rock music associated with surf culture, particularly as found in Southern California. It was especially popular from 1958 to 1964 in two major forms. The first is instrumental surf, distinguished by reverb-heavy electric guitars played to evoke the sound of crashing waves, largely pioneered by Dick Dale and the Del-Tones. The second is vocal surf, which took elements of the original surf sound and added vocal harmonies, a movement led by the Beach Boys. Dick Dale developed the surf sound from instrumental rock, where he added Middle Eastern music, Middle Eastern and Mexican music, Mexican influences, a spring reverb, and rapid alternate guitar picking, picking characteristics. His regional hit "Let's Go Trippin', in 1961, launched the surf music craze, inspiring many others to take up the approach. The genre reached national exposure when it was represented by vocal groups such as the Beach Boys and ...

Critical reception ''The New York Times'' wrote that the band "deploys a manic punk velocity, and sprinkles its music with sine-wave oscillator noises and space-documentary sound bites; otherwise its material is fairly faceless." Man Or Astro-man? EPs
A man is an adult male human. Prior to adulthood, a male human is referred to as a boy (a male child or adolescent). Like most other male mammals, a man's genome usually inherits an X chromosome from the mother and a Y chromosome from the father. Sex differentiation of the male fetus is governed by the SRY gene on the Y chromosome. During puberty, hormones which stimulate androgen production result in the development of secondary sexual characteristics, thus exhibiting greater differences between the sexes. These include greater muscle mass, the growth of facial hair and a lower body fat composition. Male anatomy is distinguished from female anatomy by the male reproductive system, which includes the penis, testicles, sperm duct, prostate gland and the epididymis, and by secondary sex characteristics, including a narrower pelvis, narrower hips, and smaller breasts without mammary glands. Throughout human history, traditional gender roles have often defin ...
