Nee (film)
''Nee!'' () is a 1965 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by Kanagashanmugam (with T. R. Ramanna receiving "supervising director" credit) and produced by T. K. Ramaraj. The film stars Jaishankar and Jayalalithaa. It was released on 21 August 1965 and became a commercial success. Plot Sundaram, a rich man, falls in love with an orphaned girl, and marries her over the objections of his elder brother. He sets up a home of his own with his wife, but when his family members persuade him to rejoin the household, he brings his wife to his brother's house. There is once again cheer and sunshine in his life. Trouble arises when he is away from the house to accept a new job offered to him. The son-in-law of the house, a magistrate, leaks out the news that the orphan girl has earlier been convicted by him for immoral traffic. At once, insults are heaped on her. Unable to bear the taunting remarks, the girl leaves the house and attempts. The real drama then begins and all ends well. ... Lakshman Sruthi - The Musical Consortium was founded by V. Raman & V. Lakshmanan in the year 2003. Lakshman Sruthi Orchestra The Lakshman Sruthi Orchestra is a Manual Orchestra founded by V. Lakshmanan in the name of Sruthi Innisai mazhai in 1987 with 10 students; since then, it has performed over 7,800 times in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and across the world. This orchestra maintains completely manual orchestration: it does not use synthesizers or any other electronic equipment. It was the first orchestra to carry out a 36-hour non-stop light music performance on 17–18 December 1994 at Kamarajar Arangam in Chennai, India. In doing so, it set a world record. Tiruchirapalli Srinivasan Rangarajan, professionally credited by his pseudonym Vaali (born 29 October 1931 – 18 July 2013) was an Indian poet who is the highest songs wrote lyricist in cinema and whose works were in Tamil, had a five-decade long association with the Tamil film industry, wrote over 15,000 songs. Jaishankar (12 July 1938 – 3 June 2000) was an Indian actor known for his work in Tamil cinema. He was a very popular lead actor in the 1960s and 70s. He was credited onscreen with title of ''Makkal Kalaingnar'' (people's artiste) or ''Makkal Thamizhan'' (people's Tamil) in most films starring him. He was also referred to as ''Thennakathu James Bond'' (South Indian James Bond) because of his roles in films such as ''Vallavan Oruvan'' and ''CID Shankar''.
