Personal life Bajić was born into a Bosnian-Serb family in Šipovo, near Jajce in SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, Yugoslavia, and was brought up with two brothers and two sisters. His father died in his early childhood. He moved to Serbia in 1988, and lived in Novi Sad until 1999, when he moved to Belgrade, where he currently lives. Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, heir presumptive to the Austro-Hungarian throne, and his wife, Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg, were assassinated on 28 June 1914 by Bosnian Serb student Gavrilo Princip. They were shot at close range while being driven through Sarajevo, the provincial capital of Bosnia-Herzegovina, formally annexed by Austria-Hungary in 1908.
