Neda (musician)
Neda (born Tenielle Neda on May 31, 1987) is a Perth-based singer-songwriter signed with Island Records Australia, which is part of Universal Music Australia. Her folk-inspired EP ''Daylight Disguise'' was released in March 2013. Neda briefly appeared on ''Australian Idol'' in 2009 under the name Tenielle Muslin, where she made it into the top 24. Neda Ulaby
Neda Ulaby ( ar, ندى علبي, born 1970) is an American reporter for National Public Radio, covering arts, cultural trends and digital media. She lives in Washington, D.C. Early life and education Born during Black September in Amman, Jordan, Ulaby spent her childhood in Lawrence, Kansas, and Ann Arbor, Michigan. The father who raised her, Fawwaz Ulaby, is a professor of electrical engineering from Damascus, Syria. In her late 20s, Neda learned that Fawwaz Ulaby was not her biological father and that the latter was a Jewish man. After graduating from the alternative Community High School in Ann Arbor, she attended Bryn Mawr College, graduating in 1993. She also studied at Oxford University, England, and in 1995 graduated with an MA in English from the University of Chicago. She is a former doctoral student in English literature. The North-East Democratic Alliance or NEDA is a political coalition that was formed on May 24, 2016, by Bharatiya Janata Party.
