Ned Hanigan
Ned Hanigan (born 11 April 1995) is an Australian professional rugby union player who currently plays for the in the Super Rugby competition and the Australian Wallabies. His preferred positions are blindside flanker or lock. Early life and career Hanigan was born in Dubbo and raised in Coonamble in the central-west part of New South Wales. After high school, he began studying science at University of New South Wales alongside Shute Shield rugby with Randwick, winning Premiership Rugby title with their Colts side before progressing on to their first team. During this time, he also represented New South Wales at Under-20 level in 2014 and 2015 and played for the New South Wales Country Eagles during the 2015 National Rugby Championship. The Shute Shield is a semi-professional rugby union competition in Sydney, Australia. It is the premier club competition in New South Wales. The Shute Shield is awarded to the winning team from the Sydney premiership grand final held at the end of the club rugby season. History Club-based rugby football began some time before 1865. 2020 Super Rugby AU Season
The 2020 Super Rugby AU season (branded as Vodafone Super Rugby AU for sponsorship reasons) was a professional club rugby union tournament organised by Rugby Australia. Sponsored by communications company Vodafone, the tournament replaced the Australian component of the incomplete 2020 Super Rugby season that was shut down in March of that year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It featured the four teams from the 2020 Australian conference, with the addition of former Super Rugby franchise the Western Force. The tournament was the inaugural season of Super Rugby AU and ran from 3 July to 19 September 2020. The 2019 Super Rugby season was the 24th season of Super Rugby, an annual rugby union competition organised by SANZAAR between teams from Argentina, Australia, Japan, New Zealand and South Africa. The 2015 World Rugby Under 20 Championship was the eighth annual international rugby union competition for Under 20 national teams. The event was organised for the second time in Italy by rugby's governing body, World Rugby. William "Will" Skelton (born 3 May 1992) is an Australian rugby union player, who plays as a lock for La Rochelle in the French Top 14 competition. Skelton was born in New Zealand, and he is of Samoan descent; he moved to Australia as a child and qualified for Australia through residency. He won 19 caps for Australia since 2014 and played at the 2015 Rugby World Cup. Family and early life Skelton was born in Auckland, New Zealand, and moved with his family to Sydney at the age of 10.
