Nebuchadnezzar (The Matrix)
The ''Nebuchadnezzar'' is a fictional hovercraft captained by Morpheus in the ''Matrix'' franchise. Its name is a Biblical reference to Nebuchadnezzar II, from the Book of Daniel. It received scholarly attention due to its role in the series and metaphorical significance. Appearance In ''Matrix'''s setting, the ship was built in 2069, prior to the Machine War that led to the creation of the Matrix. The ''Nebuchadnezzar'', along with other, similar crafts, was repurposed by the human rebels to covertly broadcast the minds of up to seven people at a time into the Matrix, where the crew would locate the minds of other humans and free them from the Matrix. The Matrix (franchise)
''The Matrix'' is an American media franchise consisting of four feature films, beginning with ''The Matrix'' (1999) and continuing with three sequels, ''The Matrix Reloaded'', ''The Matrix Revolutions'' (both 2003), and ''The Matrix Resurrections'' (2021). The first three films were written and directed by The Wachowskis and produced by Joel Silver. The Chosen One, also known as The One or The Chosen, is a narrative Trope (literature), trope where one character, usually the protagonist, is Frame story, framed as the inevitable hero or antihero of the story, as a result of destiny, unique gifts, and/or special lineage. The trope is similar to the Hero's journey template, where the main difference is that The Chosen One usually doesn't have a choice because of destiny. Neo (born as Thomas A. Anderson, also known as The One, an anagram for Neo) is a fictional character and the protagonist of ''The Matrix'' franchise, created by the Wachowskis. He was portrayed as a cybercriminal and computer programmer by Keanu Reeves in the films, as well as having a cameo in ''The Animatrix'' short film ''Kid's Story''.
