Neal Hendrix
Neal Hendrix (born May 12, 1973) is an American professional skateboarder, commentator, and brand manager. Skateboarding career Hendrix grew up in Lewisville, North Carolina, and started skating backyards and parks across the Mid-Atlantic in 1986. While In the Winston-Salem area, Hendrix did a lot to promote skateboarding and was an inspiration to many young skaters coming up behind him. He let young skaters skate the half pipe In the back yard of his parents house. In 1991 he turned pro for New Deal and two years later moved to southern California, where he resides today. Career highlights include five X Games medals and earning titles in 2005 at the Skatepark of Tampa ''Pro Vert Contest'' and China's' ''Shanghai Showdown''. Hendrix ranked 2nd in the 2007 World Cup of Skateboarding and ''Pro Vert World Rankings''. He also skated for 11-years on the Vans Warped Tour. Lewisville is a town in Forsyth County, North Carolina, United States of America. The population was 13,388 at the 2020 census, up from 12,639 in 2010. It is a Piedmont Triad community. Geography Lewisville is located in western Forsyth County at (36.098087, -80.416030). U.S. Route 421, a four-lane freeway, passes through the southern part of the town, with access from Exits 242 and 244. The 16 members of the inaugural U.S.A Skateboarding National Team were announced in March, 2019. The skaters competed to qualify for Skateboarding at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Dew Tour
The Dew Tour is an extreme sports circuit organized by the Adventure Sports Group, a subsidiary of American Media, LLC. History The tour was announced in late 2004, and made its debut in Louisville, KY in June 2005. The tour then made stops in Denver, Portland, Oregon, and San Jose, California, and wrapped up its inaugural season in Orlando, Florida, in October that year. In its first year, the tour was a major success and returned to those five cities in 2006. In 2007, the tour replaced their Louisville, Denver and San Jose stops with events in Baltimore, Cleveland, and Salt Lake City. They did return to Portland and Orlando that year. Woodward Camp
Woodward Camp or Camp Woodward is a sleep away summer camp in Woodward, Pennsylvania, United States. It was founded in 1970 by Edward Isabelle, who was an All-American gymnast. Named after a small town 35 minutes east of State College, Pennsylvania, Woodward started out as a gymnastics camp. When the US decided to boycott the 1980 Olympic games, Woodward Camp expanded its programming to include BMX racing. The BMX program quickly grew and the facilities were expanded to include ramps. In December 2008, Copper Mountain resort in Colorado opened the first installment of 'Woodward at Copper' with the Cage, a retail store focused on action sports with such features as an indoor skate bowl and the Woodward All Ages Lounge. Woodward at Copper offers winter camp days and week-long residential summer camps, including dry land as well as mountain facilities and training areas.
