Nazneen
Nazneen is an Indian Bollywood actress who was active in the 1970s and 1980s. She was born on (23 February 1958) in Kolkata and studied in Lucknow before moving to Mumbai with her parents. She was cast in ''Sa-Re-Ga-Ma-Pa'' (1972) after meeting an assistant to director Satyen Bose at a party. She subsequently played in the hit movies ''Kora Kagaz'' (1974), '' Chalte Chalte'' (1976) and ''Dildaar'' (1977). Nazneen starred in the hit television series ''Mahabharat'' produced by B.R Chopra as Kunti, the mother of the Pandava brothers. Early life Nazneen was born into a Muslim family. Her father owned a printing press. She did her schooling from Hill Grange High School. Actress Neetu Singh went to the same school as her. Neetu would invite her to her mother’s flat for lunch. ''Dildaar'' () is a 1977 Indian Hindi-language action film, produced by D. Rama Naidu under Suresh Productions and directed by K. Bapayya. It stars Jeetendra, Rekha, and Nazneen. Its music was composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The film is a remake of the Telugu language, Telugu film ''Soggadu (1975 film), Soggadu'' (1975) starring Sobhan Babu, Jayachitra, and Jayasudha. Both the movies were made under the same banner and by the same director. The film was ''Above Average'' at the box office. ''Adventures of Aladdin'' (Aladdin and the Magic Lamp) is a 1978 adventure fantasy film produced and directed by Homi Wadia. This was the last film produced/directed by him. Kunti ( sa, कुन्ती, ), named at birth as Pritha ( sa, पृथा, ), is one of the prominent characters of the Hindu epic ''Mahabharata''. ''Mahabharat'' is an Indian Hindi-language epic television series based on the ancient Sanskrit epic of the same title. The original airing consisted of a total of 94 episodes and were broadcast from 2 October 1988 to 24 June 1990 on Doordarshan. It was produced by B. R. Chopra and directed by his son, Ravi Chopra. The music was composed by Raj Kamal. The script was written by Pandit Narendra Sharma and the Hindi/Urdu poet Rahi Masoom Raza, based on the epic by Vyasa.
