Nazmul Huda Bachchu
Nazmul Huda Bachchu (11 July 1938 – 28 June 2017) was a Bangladeshi film and television actor. He won Bangladesh National Film Award. Early life and education From 1938 to 1950 he was in Kolkata with his parents. His father was a doctor at Kolkata Railway Hospital. After partition they moved to East Pakistan (Bangladesh). Bachchu completed his post graduation in political science from the University of Dhaka in 1963. Bachchu began his career in music and became a singer and music director. While he was a student, he served as a singer on the radio. In 1961, he provided vocals for the song "Obhimaan Korona" in the film '' Harano Din'', directed by Mustafizul Haq. He performed as a playback singer for several films. Bachchu emerged as an actor by his performances at SM Hall at the University of Dhaka. Syed Nazmul Haque, ( bn, সৈয়দ নাজমুল হক; 1941 – 14 December 1971) born in the district of Khulna, was a martyred Bengali journalist. Education and career Syed Nazmul Haque passed B.A. (Hons) and M.A. in political science from Dhaka University in 1963 and 1964 respectively. He took active part in the anti-martial law movement in 1962. He was arrested for disrupting the convocation program on the DU campus in 1964 where the then governor of East Pakistan Abdul Monem Khan was present. He passed the superior service examination in 1967 and was selected for the information service. But because of the police case against him for disrupting the convocation he was not allowed to join the service. He later took up journalism as a full-time profession. Nazmul Huda (born 6 January 1943) is a Bangladeshi barrister and politician. He served as the minister of information (1991–1996) and the minister of communications (2001–2006) of the government of Bangladesh. He was a 4-term Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Dhaka-1 constituency. He was a member of Bangladesh Nationalist Party since its inception until 2012 when he left the party as its vice chairman. Political career Huda started his political career with ''Jagodal'', a party founded by former President of Bangladesh Ziaur Rahman in 1977. Major Nazmul Huq (11 August 1938 — 27 September 1971) was the first sector commander of the 7th sector in the Bangladesh Liberation War. Nazmul Hassan (born 31 May 1961) is the current president of Bangladesh Cricket Board and a member of parliament from Kishoreganj-6 constituency.
