Nazim Osmanov
Nazim Seitkhalilovich Osmanov (russian: Назим Сейтхалилович Османов; 28 April 1939 – 7 September 1985) was the first secretary of the Mubarek Communist Party Committee and a deputy of the Uzbek SSR Supreme Soviet. Muborak
Muborak ( uz, Muborak/Муборак, russian: Мубарек, Mubarek) is a small city located in Qashqadaryo Region of Uzbekistan. The city is the administrative center of Muborak District. Its population is 30,100 (2016). Muborak originally arose in connection with an oil refinery. It received the status of a city in 1974. The word ''muborak'' means "gracious" in Uzbek. Muborak is currently an important oil and gas city in independent Uzbekistan. It is home to the Muborak Gas Processing Plant, one of the largest of its type in the country. The city is also known for its football team Mash'al Mubarek, Mashʼal. The Mubarek zone (, crh, Mubarek zonası) was a failed proposal by the government of the Soviet Union promoted by the KGB throughout the 1970s and 80's to push exiled Crimean Tatars (referred to as "people of Tatar nationality that formerly lived in Crimea" by the government) scattered throughout the Ferghana valley to move to the mostly unindustrialized Mubarek district of the Qashqadaryo Region with the goal of having them help industrialize the area, "take root" in Uzbekistan to put to rest desires to return to Crimea, and compose a new Tatar district in lieu of the Crimean Tatar community's long-sought goal of full right of return to Crimea and restoration of the Crimean ASSR.
