Nayef Aguerd ( ar, نايف أكرد; ber, ⵏⴰⵢⴼ ⴰⴳⵕⴹ; born 30 March 1996) is a Moroccan professional association football, footballer who plays as a Defender (association football)#Centre-back, centre-back for Premier League club West Ham United F.C., West Ham United and the Morocco national football team, Morocco national team. Nayef Hawatmeh
Nayef Hawatmeh ( ar, نايف حواتمة, Nāyef Ḥawātmeh, Kunya: Abu an-Nuf) is a Jordanian politician who was active in the Palestinian political life. Hawatmeh hails from a Jordanian clan and is a practicing Greek Catholic. He is the General Secretary of the Marxist Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) since its formation in a 1969 split from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), of which he was also a founder. He was active as a leader in the Arab Nationalist Movement (ANM), which preceded the PFLP. He presently resides in exile in Syria, from which the DFLP receives some support. Hawatmeh opposed the 1993 Oslo Accords, calling them a "sell-out", but became more conciliatory in the late 1990s. The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP; ar, الجبهة الديموقراطية لتحرير فلسطين, ''al-Jabha al-Dīmūqrāṭiyya li-Taḥrīr Filasṭīn'') is a secular Palestinian Marxist–Leninist organization. It is also frequently referred to as the Democratic Front, or al-Jabha al-Dīmūqrāṭiyya (). The group maintains a paramilitary wing called the ''National Resistance Brigades''. Nayef Rajoub ( ar, نايف الرجوب, born 1958) was the Religious Affairs Minister of Palestine in the Hamas-led Palestinian Authority cabinet and beekeeper. He has been arrested five times by Israel and once by his brother Jibril Rajoub in 1996 during a crackdown on Hamas members by Preventive Security Force led by Jibril. Nayef, however, was released after only a day.
