Navy Region Europe, Africa, Central (EURAFCENT) is one of eleven current naval regions responsible for the operation and management of Naval shore installations and assigned staff in the European, African and Southwest Asian theaters of operation. EURAFCENT provides the shore support to the United States Naval Forces Europe, United States Naval Forces Europe-Africa, however it is a part of Navy Installations Command, Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC). The region is commanded by RDML Brad J Collins, and is headquartered on Naval Support Activity Naples Italy. United States Naval Forces Europe-Africa (CNE-CNA), is the United States Navy component command of the United States European Command and United States Africa Command. The 99th Military Base Deveselu (), or the Deveselu Military Base, is a Romanian NATO base hosting the United States Navy Aegis Ashore Ballistic Missile Defense System. The Marine Corps Security Force Regiment is a dedicated security and anti-terrorism unit of the United States Marine Corps.
