Edoardo Navone (Rome , established_title = Founded , established_date = 753 BC , founder = King Romulus (legendary) , image_map = Map of comune of Rome (metropolitan city of Capital Rome, region Lazio, Italy).svg , map_caption ..., 1844–1912) was an Italian painter genre scenes, some in historical costume (''costume genre'') and some rural scenes, in a Realist style. Biography He was a resident of Rome, where he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, and opened a studio at the Passeggiata di Ripetta. He worked principally in watercolor, and painted laborers and animals in the Roman countryside. Among his works: ''Buttero''; ''Costumi del Lazio''; ''Ciociara''. At the 1883 Mostra Nazionale of Rome and the 1884 Mostra at Turin, he exhibited: ''Al passeggio'' and ''La zingara''.

John J. Navone Society of Jesus, S.J. (born October 19, 1930 – died December 25, 2016) was a Society of Jesus, Jesuit priest, theologian, philosopher, educator, author, raconteur, and Professor Emeritus of Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, Italy. Having reached the mandatory age, he retired from the Gregorian, returned to the Society's Oregon Province, and taught at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. Early life John Joseph Navone was born in Seattle, WA on 19 October 1930, the son of Giacomo "Jack" Navone and Juliet Micheli Navone. At the time of his birth, his father was not yet a US Citizen, so Navone has dual citizenship in the United States and Italy (and therefore the European Union).
