Navigators Cycling Team
Navigators Insurance Cycling Team (''UCI Code:'' NIC) was an elite road bicycle racing cycling team in the United States. Navigators focused on USA Cycling and UCI America Tour events. The team has competed in every Tour de Georgia. The team was founded in 1992 by Raymond Cipollini and James Eichvalds. The team turned Pro in 1994 and hired Edward Beamon to be its director. Colnago
Colnago Ernesto & C. S.r.l. or Colnago is a manufacturer of high quality road-racing bicycles founded by Ernesto Colnago near Milano in Cambiago, Italy. It remained a family-controlled firm until May 4, 2020, when it was announced that the UAE-based investment company, Chimera Investments LLC, had acquired a majority of the Colnago shares from Ernesto Colnago, although the headquarters will remain located in Italy after the acquisition. Instead of following his family's farming business, Ernesto Colnago chose to work in the cycle trade, and was apprenticed first to Gloria Bicycles at the age of 13, and subsequently taking up road racing. After a bad crash ended his racing career, he began subcontracting for Gloria, and opened his own shop in 1954, building his first frames the same year. Kristian House
Kristian House (born 6 October 1979 in Canterbury, England) is a British former racing cyclist who rode for the team from 2008 to 2015, and joined in 2016. He was the 2009 British Road Race Champion. He has raced in Europe and Australia. He rode for Great Britain in UCI World Cup track events. In 2006, he rode for the team and in 2007 he signed for . Kristian House was born in Britain but moved to the United States as a child, growing up initially in New Jersey and then Austin, Texas, where he began racing as a junior. At 17 he began racing in Belgium, where he stayed for two-and-a-half years. The Reading Classic was an annual bicycle road racing event held in Reading, Pennsylvania from 2006 to 2008. In its inaugural year, the 2006 Reading Classic was part of the Commerce Bank Triple Crown of Cycling on the United States' Pro Cycling Tour (PCT), and served as a remplacement of the Trenton Classic. Phil Zajicek (born March 20, 1979 in Eugene, Oregon) is an American ex-professional road racing cyclist who last rode professionally for the Fly V Australia Team in 2010. On June 10, 2011, the US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) announced that Zajicek had accepted a life-ban from competition. Career summary Zajicek, a former Junior National Champion, and a Boulder, Colorado, resident, competed throughout the United States and was known as one of the country's top domestic riders, finishing ahead of Lance Armstrong and Levi Leipheimer in Stage 5 of the 2009 Tour of the Gila. Ciarán Power
Ciarán Power (born 8 May 1976 in Waterford, Ireland) is a former professional racing cyclist, the first Irish cyclist to ride in a major tour since Stephen Roche in 1993. He is a member of the Irish Pezula Racing Team. Power turned professional in 2000 with Linda McCartney Racing Team and rode the 2000 Giro d'Italia, gaining 2 top ten stage finishes. When the McCartney team folded in 2001, Power joined the French St Quentin team before moving to the US the following season and joining Navigators. After placing 3rd in the 1999 World 'B' road championship, Power came 74th in the 2000 Summer Olympics road race. In the 2004 Summer Olympics road race, he finished 13th, the highest placing by an Irish cyclist. He retired from professional racing at the end of the 2008 season. David O'Loughlin
David O'Loughlin (born 29 April 1978 in County Mayo, Ireland) is an Irish former professional cyclist, who rode at the World Championship (in both Road and Track disciplines) and Olympic levels, and won Ireland's first UCI World Cup Track medal.
