Mookambika (, Kannada: ಶ್ರೀ ಮೂಕಾಂಬಿಕಾ) is a Hindu goddess, an aspect of Adi Parashakti, the supreme goddess of Hinduism. Sirsi Marikamba Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Marikamba Devi a form of the goddess Durga, located in Sirsi, Karnataka, It is also known as Marigudi, It was built in 1688, Sirsi Shri Marikamba Devi is "elder sister" of all Marikamba Devi's in Karnataka. Features The temple's façade, a 19th-century addition, is painted blue. After one enters through the façade, there is courtyard in the middle, which has cloisters surrounding it. Yellamma Temple, also known as Renuka Temple (Kannada: ರೇಣುಕಾ ಯಲ್ಲಮ್ಮ ದೇವಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ), is a temple of Goddess ( Devi) Renuka and a pilgrimage destination located about away from the town of Saundatti in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is situated on a hilltop known earlier as Siddhachal Parvat and now known as "Yellamma Gudda", named after the temple. The deity in the temple is the goddess Yellamma or Ellama or Renuka, revered as a fertility goddess.
