Navas (Barcelona Metro)
Navas is a Barcelona Metro station located in the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona, served by L1. It opened in 1953. The name refers to carrer Navas de Tolosa, and the station was originally called ''Navas de Tolosa'' until it adopted its current name in 1982. Like the rest of stations in this section of L1, Navas is located under Avinguda Meridiana, and can be accessed from the street of the same name and from carrer de Biscaia. On 21 February 2007 a deaf ONCE lottery seller was murdered in the station by being pushed on to the railtrack. Las Navas, officially the Municipality of Las Navas ( war, Bungto han Las Navas; tl, Bayan ng Las Navas), is a 4th class municipality in the province of Northern Samar, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 36,621 people. Etymology Before the reversion of the municipality to a mere barrio, a certain Spanish Colonel of the Spanish Armed Forces by the name of De Las Navas explored the northern part of Samar. He sailed with his men upstream Catubig River and reached a place called "Binongtu-an". The people warmly met him as a high-ranking Official of the Spanish Armed Forces with full respect and high regard to the Government. In his visit to the place, he changed the name "Binongtu-an" to Las Navas in his honor and serve as a reminder that a prominent Spanish Army arrived and reached the place. Las Navas del Marqués is a municipality located in the province of Ávila, Castile and León, Spain. It is 82 km to the northwest of Madrid. There are some different options to travel there from Madrid or Avila: you can go by car or by train. Although the train station is roughly 2 km away from the town, there are many buses that you can take every time you arrive here by train. There are trains every day connecting Las Navas to Madrid or Las Navas to Ávila. According to the 2007 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 5,098 inhabitants.
