Navarathri (1966 Film)
''Navaratri'' () is a 1966 Telugu language, Telugu-language drama (film and television), drama film, produced by A. V. Subba Rao under the Prasad Art Pictures banner and directed by T. Rama Rao. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Savitri (actress), Savitri, with music composed by T. Chalapathi Rao. The film is a remake of the Tamil language, Tamil film with the Navarathri (1964 film), same title (1964), and has Savitri reprising her role. Nageswara Rao got high critical acclaim for his portrayal of nine characters. This film is regarded to have some of the finest ever performances by him. In the song ''Addala Meda Vundi'', heavy star cast J. Jayalalithaa, Jayalalitha, Kanchana (actress), Kanchana, Jamuna (actress), Jamuna and Girija (actress), Girija make guest appearances as patients admitted in mental hospital. Mullapudi Venkata Ramana
Mullapudi Venkata Ramana (28 June 1931 – 24 February 2011) was an Indian writer known for his work in Telugu language, Telugu language. Noted for his humorous and metaphorical style of writing, Mullapudi received Raghupathi Venkaiah Award from the Government of Andhra Pradesh in 1986 for his contributions to Telugu cinema and he also won six Nandi Awards. Mullapudi is noted for his association with Bapu (director), Bapu, who both worked together as Bapu–Ramana. Ramana Reddy
Ramana Reddy (1 October 1921 – 11 November 1974) was an Indian character actor, comedian and producer known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. Kosaraju Raghavayya (23 June 1905 – 27 October 1987), known mononumously by his surname Kosaraju, was an Indian lyricist and poet known for his works in Telugu cinema. Suryakantham (28 October 1924 – 18 December 1994) was an Indian actress in Tollywood. She was popular for playing the role of a cruel mother-in-law in most of her movies.
