Nautyn McKay-Loescher
Nautyn McKay-Loescher (born November 9, 1980) is a former Canadian professional Canadian football defensive end. He was signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2004 and drafted in the 2004 CFL Draft by the BC Lions. He played college football at Alabama. McKay-Loescher has also played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Early years McKay-Loescher was born in Toronto and attended Central Technical School there. He went to the University of Alabama and played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide football team from 2000 to 2003. He played 47 games and started 16 at defensive end, made 77 total tackles (including 12.5 quarterback sacks), 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble return, and 4 pass knock-downs. Canadian Football League West Division
The West Division is one of the two regional divisions of the Canadian Football League (CFL), its counterpart being the East Division (CFL), East Division. Although the CFL was not founded until 1958, the West Division and its clubs are descended from earlier leagues. The five teams in the West Division are the BC Lions, Calgary Stampeders, Edmonton Elks, Saskatchewan Roughriders, and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The 2008 CFL season was the 55th season of modern-day Canadian football, the 51st season for the Canadian Football League. It was also the first CFL season in which all of the league's regular season and post-season games, including the Grey Cup game, were aired on TSN. This meant the CFL was no longer aired on broadcast television in Canada. As of 2008, TSN was available in approximately 8.8 million of Canada's 13 million households. Montreal Alouettes
The Montreal Alouettes (Canadian French, French: Les Alouettes de Montréal) are a professional Canadian football team based in Montreal, Quebec. Founded in 1946, the team has folded and been revived twice. The Alouettes compete in the Canadian Football League East Division, East Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL) and last won the Grey Cup championship in 98th Grey Cup, 2010. The 2006 CFL season is considered to be the 53rd season in modern-day Canadian football, although it is officially the 49th Canadian Football League season. CFL News in 2006 It was announced on April 9, 2006 that the CFL had suspended the operations of the Ottawa Renegades for the 2006 season, thus making the CFL an eight team league and moving the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to the East Division for at least the 2006 season.
