The Palau National Stadium (PCC Track & Field Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium, multi-purpose sports stadium in Koror City, Palau. It is used primarily for track and field events as well as many Association football, football matches. The stadium can seat 4000 people. Football The stadium is used by the Palau Soccer Association as a venue for the competitive football matches that it oversees, as well as being the home stadium for the Palau national football team. Koror City
Koror City (, ;''Koror'', World Book Advanced'','' World Book, Chicago) is the largest city and the commercial center in Palau, home to about half of the country's population, located on Oreor Island. During the interwar period it served as the capital of the South Seas Mandate, a group of islands that made up the League of Nations mandated territory held by the Empire of Japan. It was subsequently the capital of Palau until it was replaced by Ngerulmud in 2006. Koror
Koror is the state comprising the main commercial centre of the Republic of Palau. It consists of several islands, the most prominent being Koror Island (also ''Oreor Island''). The Palau Football Association is the governing body for association football in Palau. The association is based in the town of Koror. Palau currently is not a member of the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC), the Asian Football Federation (AFC), or FIFA. The Association runs the national football team and the Palau Soccer League, as well as the Palau Youth Soccer League. Palau National Football Team
The Palau national football team represents Palau in international football. The team is not affiliated with FIFA or a local confederation. The team play their home games at the PCC Track and Field Stadium in the town of Koror City. Currently, the side is ranked as the worst national team in the world by the Elo rating system. History Palau hosted and competed in the Micronesian Games in 1998, in which they finished third. In the tournament, teams were 9-a-side and the matches were 80 minutes in duration and were played on a pitch which was below regulation size. In addition to their first team, Palau also fielded a team consisting of Bangladeshis living on the island.
