Gunsan
Gunsan (), also romanized as Kunsan, is a city in North Jeolla Province, South Korea. It is on the south bank of the Geum River just upstream from its exit into the Yellow Sea. It has emerged as a high-tech manufacturing industrial city and an international trade seaport that is approximately southwest of Seoul on the midwest coast of the Korean Peninsula. Kunsan Air Base operated by the United States Air Force is in the city. To encourage investment, a free trade zone has been declared in the area. Notable residents of Gunsan include actress Lee Eun-ju, comedian Park Myeong-su, and Teen Top member L.Joe. History Gunsan was a small fishing village on the banks of the Geum River, near where the river spills into the Yellow Sea. The Honam Expressway (Korean language, Korean: 호남고속도로; Honam Gosok Doro) is an Expressways in South Korea, expressway serving the Honam region in South Korea. The freeway connects Nonsan on the Nonsan-Cheonan Expressway and Honam Expressway Branch Line to Gwangju and Suncheon, South Korea, Suncheon on the Namhae Expressway. Seohaean Expressway
The Seohaean Expressway (Korean: 서해안 고속도로; Seohaean Gosok Doro), meaning "West Coast Expressway", is a freeway in South Korea, connecting Mokpo to Gunsan, Dangjin, and Seoul. It is numbered 15. The entire length from Seoul to Mokpo is 345 km and the posted speed limit is 110 km/h, enforced primarily by speed cameras. It is connected of Seohae Grand Bridge in Pyeongtaek to Dangjin. The branch expressways of the Seohaean Expressway are Seocheon–Gongju Expressway and Pyeongtaek–Siheung Expressway. Typical facilities of this expressway is Seohae Bridge(Korean: 서해대교; Seohae Daegyo) which the total length of 7.3 km linking the Pyeongtaek(Gyeonggi Province) and Dangjin(Chungnam Province).
