State Route 55 (SR 55) is an east-west highway in Middle Tennessee. The road begins at SR 50 in Lynchburg and ends at U.S. Route 70S (US 70S) and SR 380 in McMinnville. The current length is . SR 55 heads northeast from Lynchburg to Tullahoma as a two-lane road. In Tullahoma, the route runs concurrent with US 41A. This is a list of properties and historic districts in Tennessee that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. There are over 2,000 in total. Of these, 29 are National Historic Landmarks. Each of Tennessee's 95 counties has at least one listing. State Route 108 (SR 108) is a state highway in Southeastern and Eastern Middle Tennessee. It connects SR 28 in Whitwell to SR 55 Bus/ SR 56/ SR 380 in McMinnville. Route description Marion County SR 108 begins as a primary highway in Marion County at an intersection with SR 28 in Whitwell. It travels to the north as Main Street into downtown and then turns northeast as Cumberland Drive and leaves Whitwell. The National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) is the United States federal government's official list of districts, sites, buildings, structures and objects deemed worthy of preservation for their historical significance or "great artistic value". Caney Fork
The Caney Fork River is a river that flows through central Tennessee in the United States, draining a substantial portion of the southwestern Cumberland Plateau and southeastern Highland Rim regions. It is a major tributary of the Cumberland River, and is part of the Cumberland, Ohio and Mississippi basins. The river is long, and its watershed covers in eleven counties. Monterey, Baxter, Sparta, Smithville, McMinnville, Altamont, Spencer and Gordonsville are among the towns that are at least partially drained by the river. The Caney Fork flows through two impoundments— Center Hill Lake and Great Falls Lake— both of which create sizeable artificial lakes.
