National Prize For Performing And Audiovisual Arts
The National Prize for Performing and Audiovisual Arts ( es, Premio Nacional de Artes de la Representación y Audiovisuales) was created in Chile in 1992 under Law 19169 as one of the replacements of the National Prize of Art of Chile, National Prize of Art. It is granted "to the person who has distinguished themselves by their achievements in the respective area of the arts" (Article 8 of the aforementioned law). It is part of the National Prize of Chile. The prize, which is awarded every two years, consists of a diploma, the sum of 6,576,457 Chilean peso, pesos () which is adjusted every year, according to the previous year's consumer price index, and a pension of 20 (approximately US$1,600). Yasna Provoste
Yasna Provoste Campillay (born 16 December 1969) is a Chilean teacher and Christian Democrat politician of Diaguita descent, who served as minister during the presidencies of Ricardo Lagos and Michelle Bachelet. In 2008, after frauds committed by the civil servant Franka Grez, Provoste began to be questioned by parliamentarians of the then centre-right opposition ―Alianza por Chile— for not having been aware of that omission, that is, the systematic appropriation and concealment which Grez practiced in the four years where she operated (2004−2008). El Mostrador is a Chilean online newspaper, founded on 1 March 2000. Its current president is Germán Olmedo Acedvedo and its director is Federico Joannon Errázuriz. Adriana Delpiano Puelma (born February 27, 1947) is a Chilean politician. From 27 June 2015 to 11 March 2018 she was the Minister of Education of Chile in the cabinet of Michelle Bachelet. Formerly, she was Intendant of the Santiago Metropolitan Region ('). Héctor Noguera
Héctor Eugenio Noguera Illanes (born July 8, 1937 in Santiago), is a Chilean television, theatre and film actor, and also a theatre director. Noguera is the son of Héctor Noguera Prieto (grandson of José Joaquín Prieto Vial and Yolanda Illanes Benítez. He studied at Colegio San Ignacio school and graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He was married to Isidora Portales and they had two daughters, Amparo and Piedad. Later, he married Claudia Berger and had three children with her, Diego, Emilia and Damián. Egon Wolff (April 13, 1926 – November 2, 2016) was a Chilean playwright and author. Born in Santiago, he was educated in Chile and the United States. Early life Egon Wolff was born into a middle-class family of German immigrants, to parents who espoused traditional family values and encouraged traditional work ethics. During his childhood Wolff suffered periods of ill health and turned to reading; he read the classics of world literature to escape the boredom of being sick and bedridden. At the age of 16 Wolff produced his first novel, ''El Ocaso'' (Sunset). Juan Radrigán
Juan Rojas Radrigán (January 23, 1937 – October 16, 2016) was a Chilean playwright, novelist and poet. He was awarded Chile's National Prize for Performing and Audiovisual Arts in 2011. Biography Radrigán was born in 1937 in Antofagasta, one of three brothers born to working-class parents. As a child, Radrigán worked to support the family's scant income, never receiving a formal education. Entirely self-taught, he became an avid reader and began writing poetry and stories from the age of twelve. Radrigán was appointed editor of ''Unpublished Notebooks'', an official publication of the Unpublished Writers Center, from November 1961 to July 1962. At the age of 25 he published his first volume of short stories ''Los Vencidos no Creen en Dios'', followed six years later by his second novel ''El Vino de la Cobardía''. Mónica Eliana Jiménez de la Jara (December 25, 1940 – August 25, 2020) was a Chilean Christian Democrat politician and Minister of Education. Early life Jiménez came from a political family. Her father Oscar Jiménez Pinochet was Minister of Health under President Salvador Allende, while her brother Jorge occupied the same position under President Patricio Aylwin. Even though she never formally joined the Christian Democrat Party until 2009, she supported it since she was a university student. She graduated as a social worker from the Universidad Catolica de Chile.
