Budva Municipality
Budva Municipality is one of the municipalities of Montenegro. The administrative center is Town of Budva. The municipality is located at the Adriatic coast in southwestern Montenegro. List Of World Heritage Sites In Montenegro
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Sites are places of importance to cultural or natural heritage as described in the UNESCO World Heritage Convention, established in 1972. Montenegro, which declared independence in 2006 following the breakup of Yugoslavia and the dissolution of Serbia and Montenegro, acceded to the convention on 3 June 2006. , there are four sites in Montenegro on the list and a further six on the tentative list (the official list of sites that may be considered for future submission). The first site in Montenegro to be added to the list was Natural and Culturo-Historical Region of Kotor, inscribed at the 3rd UNESCO session in 1979. Orjen
Orjen (Serbian Cyrillic: Орјен, ) is a transboundary Dinaric Mediterranean limestone mountain range, located between southernmost Bosnia and Herzegovina and southwestern Montenegro. Its highest peak is Veliki kabao, which stands at . The Orjen Peak is the highest peak in the ''Sub-Adriatic'' Dinarides. The massif of Orjen lies east to south-east of Trebinje in Bosnia and Herzegovina and north-west of Risan in Bay of Kotor (Boka Kotorska). Komovi
Komovi ( sr-cyr, Комови) is a mountain and mountain range in eastern Montenegro. It is a part of the Dinaric Alps. Its highest peak, Kom Kučki, reaches a height of . The Komovi are located between the Montenegrin-Albanian Prokletije mountain range which borders them to the south and east, the Bjelasica mountain to the north, and Tara river to the west. Sinjajevina ( cnr, Сињајевина, ), also known as Sinjavina () is a mountain in northern Montenegro. The highest point of Sinjajevina is ''Jablanov vrh'', which is high. Features Sinjajevina Mountain stretches from SE to NW, between town of Kolašin and village of Njegovuđa, near Žabljak. The massif is 40 km long and 15 km wide. Piva (river)
The Piva (Serbian Cyrillic: Пива, ) is the river in Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The river runs through Montenegro for the most of its course length, and in its last three kilometres represents the border between the two countries. Gusinje
Gusinje ( cyrl, Гусиње, ; sq, Gucia) is a small town in north-eastern Montenegro. According to the 2011 census, the town has a population of 1,673 and is the administrative center of Gusinje Municipality. Name Two alternative etymologies have been proposed for the toponym ''Gusinje''. One links it to Slavic ''guska'' (goose), the other to the Illyrian term ''Geusiae'' from which the Albanian name of the town, ''Guci(a)'', would have evolved. Plav Municipality
Plav Municipality ( Montenegrin, sq, Komuna e Plavës) is one of the municipalities of Montenegro. The center is Town of Plav. In February 2014, the south-western third of the municipality seceded to form Gusinje Municipality. Geography Plav is located at the foot of the Accursed mountains range, adjacent to the springs of the river Lim. The area contains many lakes and the most known is Lake Plav, one of the largest in this region. The lakes Hrid and Visitor are mountain lakes, and Visitor is noted for its floating island. The Accursed Mountains ( sq, Bjeshkët e Nemuna; sh-Cyrl-Latn, Проклетије, Prokletije, ; both translated as "Cursed Mountains"), also known as the Albanian Alps ( sq, Alpet Shqiptare), are a mountain group in the western part of the Balkans. Bar Municipality
Bar Municipality is one of the municipalities of Montenegro. The center is the town Bar. The municipality is located at the Adriatic coast in the southeast Montenegro. According to the 2011 census, the city proper had 17,649 inhabitants, while the total population of Bar Municipality was 42,068.
