National Library Of Mozambique
The National Library of Mozambique (''Biblioteca Nacional de Moçambique'') is located in Maputo, Mozambique. It is located in a structure which formerly housed the Office of Finance of the Colony of Mozambique. It was designed by the architect Mario Veiga in 1904, and is located on 25 de Setembro Avenue. Organizational structure The organizational structure of the National Library of Mozambique was created by Diploma Ministerial of the Mozambican Ministry of Culture no. 103/92 of July 22. Mozambique
Mozambique (), officially the Republic of Mozambique ( pt, Moçambique or , ; ny, Mozambiki; sw, Msumbiji; ts, Muzambhiki), is a country located in southeastern Africa bordered by the Indian Ocean to the east, Tanzania to the north, Malawi and Zambia to the northwest, Zimbabwe to the west, and Eswatini and South Africa to the southwest. Maputo
Maputo (), formerly named Lourenço Marques until 1976, is the Capital city, capital, and largest city of Mozambique. Located near the southern end of the country, it is within of the borders with Eswatini and South Africa. The city has a population of 1,088,449 (as of 2017) distributed over a land area of . The Metropolitan Maputo, Maputo metropolitan area includes the neighbouring city of Matola, and has a total population of 2,717,437. Maputo is a port city, with an economy centered on commerce. Portuguese Mozambique
Portuguese Mozambique ( pt, Moçambique) or Portuguese East Africa (''África Oriental Portuguesa'') were the common terms by which Mozambique was designated during the period in which it was a Portuguese Empire, Portuguese colony. Portuguese Mozambique originally constituted a string of Portuguese possessions along the south-east African coast, and later became a unified colony, which now forms the Republic of Mozambique. is a character created by Japanese video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto. He is the title character of the ''Mario'' franchise and the mascot of Japanese video game company Nintendo. Mario has appeared in over 200 video games since his creation. Arquivo Histórico De Moçambique
The Arquivo Histórico de Moçambique (est. 1934) serves as the national archives of Mozambique. In 1939 it was designated the official "Arquivo do Governo da Colónia" and after independence from Portugal in 1975 became the repository of records of the Republic of Mozambique. Since 1976 the Universidade Eduardo Mondlane in Maputo oversees it. The archives contributes to the operation of the Sistema Nacional de Arquivos (est. 1992) and its successor, the Sistema Nacional de Arquivos de Estado of the Ministério da Função Pública (est. 2007). It also produces a journal.
