The Outer Ring Road is a long Ring road within the South Indian city of Mysore, Karnataka. The road was originally to be widened to eight lanes, but was reduced to six in order to free up funds for building a missing link along the road. Most of the road was opened in 2012. Hinkal is a Census town situated at the intersection of Hunsur Road aka NH275 and Ring Road aka NH 275K in Mysore city outskirts of Karnataka, India. On 28 April 2010, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways officially published a new numbering system for the National Highway network in the Gazette of the Government of India. It is a systematic numbering scheme based on the orientation and the geographic location of the highway.
