BR-153 is a major federal highway of Brazil, officially named the Transbrasiliana Highway. It also serves as part of the Belém–Brasília Highway in the stretch located between the cities of Wanderlândia, in the state of Tocantins, and Anápolis, in the state of Goiás. It crosses Brazil in a north–south direction, starting in São Domingos do Araguaia, in the state of Pará and ending in Aceguá, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul on the Brazil/Uruguay border. The highway, highly variable in quality and traffic, cuts through the states of Pará, Tocantins, Goiás, Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul. Duplication A 315 km section between Anápolis and Monte Alegre de Minas has already been duplicated. In 2020, the Federal Government plans to grant 850.7 km of the highway to the private sector, in the Anápolis (GO) section to Aliança (TO), to double 623.4 km of the section. K-153 is a north–south state highway located entirely within McPherson County in the U.S. state of Kansas. K-153's southern terminus is at a partial interchange with K-61 southwest of McPherson and the northern terminus is at U.S. Route 56 (US-56) in McPherson. K-153 along with K-61 is part of a western bypass of McPherson. The highway has one signed spur route known as K-153 Spur. Before state highways were numbered in Kansas there were auto trails. The northern terminus closely follows the former National Old Trails Road and Old Santa Fe Trail. The current K-153 Spur and section of K-153 from the spur northward to US-56 was originally a section of US-81. When US-81 was moved onto the new Interstate 35W (I-35W) (modern I-35), the current K-153 was designated K-61 Alternate and the spur was designated K-61 Spur. State Route 153 (SR 153) is a state highway that runs southwest–to–northeast through portions of Webster, Marion, Sumter, and Schley counties in the west-central part of the U.S. state of Georgia. Route description Route 153 begins as Essex Road in downtown Westbrook, at an intersection with US 1. Connecticut () is the southernmost state in the New England region of the Northeastern United States. State Route 153 (SR 153) is a very short state highway in the U.S. state of California in El Dorado County. It extends only from the junction of Cold Springs Road and SR 49, in the town of Coloma in the heart of California's Gold Country, to the monument marking the grave of James Marshall, whose finding of gold along the American River, January 24, 1848 sparked the California Gold Rush.
