National High School Games (Taiwan)
National High School Games () is the largest multi-sport event for junior and senior high school players in Taiwan. The Games started in 1952, under the name of Taiwan Provincial High School Games (). It is now organized by the Sports Administration of the Ministry of Education. The host city changes every year. The name "National High School Games" has been used since 2000. Multi-sport Event
A multi-sport event is an organized sporting event, often held over multiple days, featuring competition in many different sports among organized teams of athletes from (mostly) nation-states. The first major, modern, multi-sport event of international significance was the Olympic Games, first held in modern times in 1896 in Athens, Greece and inspired by the Ancient Olympic Games, one of a number of such events held in antiquity. Team Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. The goals are surrounded by a zone where only the defending goalkeeper is allowed; goals must be scored by throwing the ball from outside the zone or while "diving" into it. National Hsin Feng Senior High School
National Hsin-Feng Senior High School () is a coed public senior high school located in Gueiren District, Tainan, Taiwan. It is well known for its men's football team. History National Hsin-Feng Senior High School was founded as two-year Gueiren Agriculture School () on 27 March 1929 in order to cultivate local young people to professionals on agriculture. It was later renamed to Gueiren Rural Youth School () in 1935, Hsin-Feng Youth School () in 1936, Hsin-Feng Secondary School () in 1939, and eventually changed to three-year Hsin-Feng Vocational Agriculture School (). Before Taiwan was returned from Japan to the Republic of China in 1945, the title of school was changed five times and there had been four principals. Tainan County was a county in southern Taiwan between 1945 and 2010. The county seat was in Sinying City. History Tainan County was established on 7 January 1946 on the territory of Tainan Prefecture () shortly after the end of World War II. In the early years, Tainan County consists of most territory of Tainan Prefecture except the territory near cities of Tainan and Kagi (Chiayi). The county is subdivide into districts (), which is reformed from Japanese districts (). The districts are divided into townships. On 16 August 1950, another division reform was implemented. The northern part of the county was separated and established Chiayi County and Yunlin County. Yilan County, alternately spelled I-lan, is a County (Taiwan), county in northeastern Taiwan, Republic of China.
